Winner Creek Trail, Girdwood, Alaska

Winner Creek main attraction - Hand Tram ! I've been so excited about that hand tram since I realized about hand tram.

There is 2 starting point to get to the hand tram:

1- Starting behind the Alyeska tram station will need you to hike 2.5 miles to reach the hand tram. You'll go through 1/2 miles of blueberry bush besides the trail, you'll see bear if you're lucky! You'll come to a few small gorge and a beautiful gorge that you can actually walk down and drink some spring water. It only takes around 5 minutes from the last gorge to the handtram.

Pro - Nice parking place and a place to rest after hike.
Con - Long Hike to Hand Tram and Long Hike back to the resort.

2- Starting from Crow Creek Mine/ trail will only take 1 mile to get you to the Hand Tram and another 5 minutes to the Gorge.

Pro - short hike to the hand tram.
Con - Long drive on a unpaved road.

Either way will get you to the wonderful, unforgettable, Handtram above a river right on a valley!!!
