Whittier is almost 40 minutes drive from Anchorage, we depart earlier so that we can stop by the scenic stop along the Seward highway!
Stop 1 : Beluga Point - This is where you stop and spot beluga. There will be around 3 binocular for you to be the lucky one to spot a beluga. Beluga (白鲸) swims in when the tides coming and they feed on the small fish especially on the estuary. In case you have no idea how a beluga look like. There you go......................

The beluga inhabits a discontinuous circumpolar distribution in Arctic and sub-Arctic waters ranging from 50° N to 80° N, particularly along the coasts of Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and Russia. |
Besides, you can also spot some Dall Sheep and Mountain Goat on the Mountain, they're every to spot!
Stop 2 : Bird Point - A place where you look at bird. Well, I'm not a big fans of bird but the view of Turnagain Arm is better then Beluga Point.

Stop 3 : AWCC Anchorage Wildlife Conservation Centre
AWCC is a non-profit organization that provides refuge for orphaned, injured and ill animals; cares for animals that cannot survive on their own in the wild; and educates visitors about Alaska's wildlife. Their mission indicates the organization's commitment to wildlife: To preserve Alaska's wildlife through conservation, and public education, providing quality animal care and spacious enclosures for injured and orphaned animals a year-round basis. You can see Moose, Elk, Brown Bear, Black Bear, Musk Ox, Bison, Reindeer, Porcupine, Bald Eagle, Snow Owl, Coyote, Caribou, Deer, Lynx.
